Role Overview

We are seeking meticulous and language-savvy individuals to join our team as an AI Trainer. This critical role involves instructing and refining the behavior of artificial intelligence models, specifically focusing on how they interpret human instructions and generate responses. You will be responsible for creating, evaluating, and editing high-quality text data to ensure our AI systems are accurate, helpful, and safe.

Responsibilities

Model Instruction: “Teach” AI models by providing high-quality examples of desired inputs (prompts) and ideal outputs (responses).

Content Evaluation & Ranking: Review AI-generated responses based on clarity, accuracy, helpfulness, tone, and safety guidelines, ranking them against human-written standards or other model outputs.

Data Curation & Editing: Edit and rewrite AI-generated text to meet specific project guidelines, ensuring linguistic quality and technical accuracy.

Guideline Development: Collaborate with data scientists and AI researchers to refine project instructions and annotation guidelines, ensuring clarity and consistency across the training data.

Quality Assurance: Perform audits and quality checks on data tasks completed by other trainers, ensuring a high standard of input data for model training.

Feedback Loop: Analyze patterns in model performance and provide clear, actionable feedback to the engineering teams to improve AI model capabilities.

Domain Expertise: Develop expertise in specific subject areas related to AI projects to provide accurate and nuanced training data.

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Journalism, Communications, or a related field; quantitative fields (Data Science, CS) with strong language skills also considered.

For Freshers: Strong academic record and a demonstrable portfolio showcasing strong writing/editing skills or relevant academic projects in NLP/AI is a plus.

For Experienced: 1-4+ years of experience in content creation, technical writing, data annotation, linguistic analysis, or related AI training roles.

Exceptional command of the English language (written and verbal), grammar, and subtle variations in tone and context.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Tools & Systems Knowledge

Language & Content: Expertise in English writing/editing, familiarity with style guides.

AI/ML Concepts: Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts is a plus.

General Tools: Experience with data annotation platforms, CMS, and MS Office Suite.
