Job Overview

We are looking for a versatile individual who can blend aesthetic sensibility with technical expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive user interfaces, developing responsive websites, and ensuring seamless integration with back-end systems. This role requires a strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated design skills and practical experience in modern front-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design & UI/UX:

Design Execution: Create visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive designs for websites, landing pages, and web applications.

Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to articulate design concepts.

Branding & Consistency: Maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms, adhering to established style guides and design systems.

Usability & Accessibility: Ensure all designs meet high standards of usability (UX) and web accessibility (WCAG) guidelines.

Front-End Development:

Coding & Implementation: Translate design mockups into functional, clean, and efficient code using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Responsive Design: Implement responsive and adaptive designs that perform flawlessly across various devices and browsers.

CMS Integration: Experience working within Content Management Systems (CMS), primarily WordPress, including theme customization and plugin integration.

Optimization: Optimize web assets and code for maximum speed and scalability, focusing on Core Web Vitals and performance best practices.

Collaboration: Work closely with back-end developers, marketing teams, and project managers to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in web design, UI design, or front-end development.

Design Tools: High proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).

Web Technologies: Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (basic to intermediate level).

CMS Experience: Hands-on experience with WordPress development and customization is mandatory.

Design Principles: A strong understanding of graphic design fundamentals, typography, layout, color theory, and responsive design principles.

Portfolio: A strong online portfolio demonstrating a breadth of web design projects and successful implementations.

Communication: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred (Good to have)

Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS or frameworks like Bootstrap/Tailwind CSS.

Knowledge of SEO best practices and how design/site architecture impacts search visibility.

Basic understanding of back-end technologies (e.g., PHP, Python) or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

Experience with version control systems (Git).
