Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable ML solutions. This role requires building intelligent systems from prototypes to production-ready applications, working with large datasets to derive insights and improve business processes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement machine learning models to address specific business needs and challenges.

Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate ML solutions into existing production systems and applications.

Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and analysis on large datasets to ensure high-quality inputs for modeling.

Train, fine-tune, and optimize ML models using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, evaluating performance with appropriate metrics.

Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines using MLOps practices and cloud-based platforms for deployment (e.g., Docker, AWS, Azure).

Conduct research to stay updated on the latest advancements in ML technologies and algorithms to identify opportunities for integration.

Document methodologies, processes, and model architectures to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing across teams.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

For Freshers: Strong academic record and a demonstrable project portfolio showcasing hands-on ML projects (internships, academic projects, GitHub contributions are essential).

For Experienced: 1-5+ years of proven experience as an ML Engineer or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in developing and deploying ML models.

Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, probability, and linear algebra.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative ML solutions.

Tools & Systems Knowledge

Programming Languages: Expertise in Python is essential.

ML Frameworks & Libraries: Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit-learn, NumPy, and Pandas.

Cloud Platforms & MLOps: Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desired.

Databases: Knowledge of SQL for data handling.

Methodologies: Experience working within Agile/Scrum software development methodologies is a plus.
