Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and communicative Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business objectives and technological solutions. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in identifying problems, gathering requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery and implementation of software projects that drive efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Elicitation & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders across various business units (e.g., sales, finance, IT) to gather, document, and validate detailed functional and non-functional requirements.

Process Modeling & Improvement: Analyze and document current “as-is” business processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement, recommending innovative solutions and process re-engineering.

Documentation & Specifications: Create clear, well-structured business requirements specifications (BRD), functional specification documents (FRD), user stories, and process flowcharts for technical teams.

Data Analysis & Insights: Utilize data analysis techniques and tools (e.g., SQL queries, Excel, Power BI) to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and provide data-driven, actionable insights to management.

Solution Implementation & Testing: Support the software development lifecycle (SDLC) within an Agile or Scrum environment, including assisting with test case development, quality assurance (QA), and facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams, ensuring alignment and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk Management & Support: Identify potential project risks, assist in developing mitigation plans, and provide post-implementation training and support to end-users to ensure smooth adoption of new systems.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related analytical field.

Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a related QA role within an IT environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and process modeling tools (e.g., MS Visio, Balsamiq).

Solid experience in writing SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.

Familiarity with project management and documentation tools like Jira and Confluence.

Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
